Indore (Madhya Pradesh): On Friday, a 45-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself at her home in Tilak Nagar area. The reason for his extreme decision could not be determined as no note was found from his home.
It is believed that he took this extreme step because he was suffering from depression. Police are investigating and recording statements of family members to find out the reason behind the woman’s decision.
Family members donated the woman’s eyes following her death. Investigating officer ASI Gambhir Singh Tomar of Tilak Nagar police station said family members informed the police that Kirti Saini, a resident of Ashish Nagar, had hanged herself at her home.
Her husband Manohar told the police that Kirti was depressed and was being treated by a psychiatrist. A few days ago, her eye size increased and she was afraid that she would lose her vision. She was alone at home when her husband took the extreme decision to end his life because he was on poll duty as a party agent.
He has two children; The older one lives in Australia, and the younger one went to his friend’s house in the city. The older son suspected something was wrong when he called his mother, but the mother did not answer.
She called to check on her little brother and found him hanging in the house. He was taken to hospital but could not be saved. The police launched an investigation into the incident and handed over the body to family members after the autopsy of the victim.
