Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): The Diwali meeting of the District Industrial and Trade Association (Cell) ended on Thursday. People from the industry and business world, gold, silver, grain market, textile, power loom, catering traders, iron and cement sectors attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by cell president Varun Sharma and moderated by Anil Gangwal. The main supporters were Cereal Market Oilseeds Association secretary Anil Garg, Antim Jain, Umesh Jain and Manish Chaudhary.

At the meeting, tradesmen and industrialists from all sectors discussed the issues of GST, transportation, rented land, donations, lighting, as well as other problems of tradesmen and industrialists, and stated that the government ignored them. Congress candidate Maya Trivedi also attended the programme.

He was welcomed by the members and informed about the problems encountered. He was asked to convey his problems to the government if the Congress came to power. Maya Trivedi assured everyone that she is constantly fighting for the public good and will continue to do so in the future.

He said the development of any city depends on trade and industry. After Varun Sharma’s opening speech, Shantilal Jain, Pawan Harbhajanka, Dinesh Bhayal, Ramvilas Gupta, Devendra Kansal, Mukesh Harbhajanka, Shiv Narayan Soni, Govind Khandelwal and Sanjay Jain Khali presented their views at the meeting.
