Balaghat. On Thursday, the last day of Shardeya Navratri festival, Prasad was distributed in Devi temples in the morning by offering prayers and performing aarti. At the same time, in the evening, with devotion, on the tune of goddess songs, Jyotikalas were immersed in the local water bodies with devotion. Similarly, the Jyoti Kalash and Jawara installed in the houses were also immersed in the nearby river, pond and other water sources by worshiping and offering rituals. Here, since the morning on the Navami festival, there was a crowd of devotees in the Goddess temples for worship. The Jawara and Kalash were taken out for immersion by the Bhajan troupe by singing Devi Jas and with the tunes of bandwagoners.
Around 600 Jyoti Kalash were installed this year in the Kalipat temple of the city. At the same time, hundreds of Jyoti Kalash were also lit at Tripura Sundari Mandir and Durga Mandir at Hanuman Chowk. On Thursday evening, a procession was taken out from the temple for the immersion of the Kalash. The procession of Jyotikalash from Maa Kali Path temple reached Wainganga river, where the urns were immersed. Apart from this, the immersion of Jyotikalas installed in Maa Tripura Sundari Temple, Durga Mandir was also done late in the evening.
Devotees performed havan-worship in Durga pandals
Here, on the occasion of Navami by the public Durga Utsav committees, ritualistic worship was performed. Mahaprasad, Bhandara were distributed after performing Havan-Puja. This process of worship and worship continued throughout the day on Thursday. On this occasion a large number of devotees participated and offered offerings in the havan and took Mahaprasad.
