Anuppur. The entire village is spending time in the dark after a sudden power transformer failure on October 9 in Munda-Bhelma, Gram Panchayat of Jaithari Janpad Panchayat. More than two hundred consumers are forced to live in the dark here. The transformer is said to have burnt out. Along with this, the officers working in the sub-centre have been told that in the last six months the transformer has been changed thrice. Still, the transformer is getting damaged every day. Due to this, the power supply of the entire rural area comes to a standstill. But even after the surprise complaint, the rectification work has not been done by the employees of the electricity department. Due to which there is anger among the villagers. Villagers allege that at present the festival of Navratri is also going on, idols have been installed in pandals and temples in rural areas. Crowds of devotees are reaching day and night to have darshan. The day time passes but the villagers who move through the dark and deserted road at night have to face problems.
