The Supreme Court has issued an order to mention death due to corona infection in the death certificate in case of death due to corona virus. After this, the Central Government has issued instructions in this regard, but due to lack of instructions from the State Government, the Greater and Heritage Municipal Corporation of Jaipur is still not marking the death from Corona in the death certificate. Due to which most of the people are not getting compensation despite death due to corona.

It is being told that the cause of death is mentioned in the Medical Certification Scheme (MCCD) Form Four and Form Four-A. But till date both these forms are not sent to the Municipal Corporation by MCCD, due to which it is not mentioned in the records of the corporation that due to which disease the person concerned died. Only Form-2 is sent to the corporation. It is worth noting that from January to September, the Heritage Municipal Corporation has issued 6700 death certificates and 29500 in the Greater Municipal Corporation.

The negligence of the corporation also came to the fore

Along with the medical department, the negligence of the corporation has also come to the fore in the whole matter. Till date, the corporation has also not raised any objection regarding non-availability of Form Four and Form Four-A. Rather, the death certificate was issued on the basis of Form-2 only.
