Singrauli’s social worker SK Gautam got award in Delhi

Singrauli. In a program organized under the joint aegis of Loknayak Jaiprakash International Center for Development of Studies and Loknayak Jaiprakash National Art and Culture Foundation, SK Gautam, a social worker of the district, was honored with the JP Award. The honor ceremony was organized on the 119th birth anniversary of Jayaprakash Narayan, organized at Samved Auditorium, New Delhi, located in Janpath Building of Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts.

Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, Arjun Ram Meghwal honored those who did excellent work in the social and cultural field as the chief guest. Social worker Regional Railway Advisory Committee member SK Gautam was also among those honored. The Minister of State honored him with the Jaypee International Award and appreciated his work and being socially active.

As a special guest in the program, Sachinanand Joshi Secretary Indira Gandhi National Center of Arts, Rajiv Ranjan Prasad Secretary JDU and Padma Shri Dinesh Singh, the then Vice Chancellor of Delhi University were also present. Gandhian, socialist thinker and reformer Raghu Thakur, Raman Magsaysay Award winner Prakash Amte, Santosh Bhartiya, Pradeep K Mohanty, Laxman Singh Laporia, Surendra Khanna, Satya Narayan, Arun Kumar, Dr. Amandeep Singh, General Secretary of the organization Abhay Kumar Sinha and others were present.
