Lucknow. Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is all set to open Atal Residential School, where children of laborers will be given free and good education. It will provide better, equitable and accessible education to the underprivileged sections.
“Cabinet Minister of Labor Department Swami Prasad Maurya told in a conversation with the magazine that Atal Residential School has 18 divisional headquarters – Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Basti, Bareilly, Chitrakoot, Devipatan, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur. , Moradabad, Agra, Saharanpur and Varanasi are being built in all the places.”
Swami Prasad Maurya said that the Public Works Department has been included as an executive body. An amount of Rs 180 crore has been allotted to them in March 2020 for the construction of schools. The state government has allocated a budget of Rs 270 crore for the construction of these schools in the current financial year in a time bound manner.
On this, so far, such a scheme is being made to improve the education and food arrangements of such children of laborers who live on the site.
