This time, due to not getting permission from the government, neither the procession of Ram Darbar and Ravana Darbar will come out nor Dussehra Mela will be organized. As the last rites of Ravana, the effigy of Ravana will be burnt without any fireworks. All the residents of the city will either watch the burning of the effigy from the roofs of their homes or watch it online. The office bearers of the committee have urged the people to watch Ravana slaughter and combustion online in maximum numbers.
Ramlila in final stage
Ramlila running under the aegis of Nagar Ramlila Mandal Committee at Ramlila Maidan in the city is one step away from its final phase. Committee spokesperson Dilip Sharma said that Ravana is the only survivor after the killing of Ahiravana, Meghnath and Kumbhakarna in Thursday’s Leela. Now Kaal Ram Ravana war will happen and Ravana’s effigy will be burnt as the last rites of Ravana. When there was a war between Shri Ram and Kumbhakarna, people raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram fiercely. When Hanuman destroyed Meghnad’s victory yagya, people also laughed.
