Mahasing told that about 20 years ago, he got a complaint of TB. At that time, he was complaining of fever as well as a severe cough. He was accompanied by mild fever and weakness due to loss of appetite. When his health deteriorated, he went to the government health center and showed the doctor there. The doctor advised him to do a sputum test. Later, his sputum test was found to have TB disease. At that time the doctor told him that there is no need to panic. You will be fine after taking medicine for six months. Mahasing followed the doctor’s advice and completed the 6-month course of DOTS and he was cured. After a complete recovery after taking medicine, a self-confidence grew within Mahasing and he decided to help other people in the village who were suffering from TB disease. Mahasing himself went to the patient’s house and started giving him medicine in front of him. One advantage of this was that the patient was met daily and his condition was also received. In this way, so far Mahasing has cured more than 10 TB patients by feeding them medicine, which is a big achievement.
TB is infectious disease
Significantly, TB is an infectious disease, which spreads through the air. It can happen to any person. Cough for more than 2 weeks, loss of weight, loss of appetite, mild fever in the evening, chest pain, sometimes blood with mucus can be symptoms of TB disease.
