Bhopal. The last phase of Navratri is going on. Devotees are worshiping Mata Rani. On Wednesday, the festival of Maha Ashtami was celebrated with great pomp. On this occasion, Kanya Poojan was organized at various places. Devotees worshiped the feet of the girls with devotion, havan, worship and Maha Aarti took place. Kanya Puja and Kanya Bhoj have great importance on Maha Ashtami. On Ashtami, Kanya Pujans were organized at many places in the city. This time the gatherings of girls’ food were less, nor were there more Bhandaras on Maha Ashtami. Instead of this, the office bearers of many committees distributed stationery materials including copies, pens to the girls. Along with temples and pandals, special pujas were offered in homes on Ashtami.
New Market: Distributed Learning Materials
Kanya Pujan was organized on Maha Ashtami in a pandal decorated in New Market on behalf of New Market Traders Federation. On this occasion, education material was distributed to 51 girls. Similarly, masks were distributed to the people present and the message of safety was given.
Food packets distributed to the needy
On the occasion of Ashtami, a free food distribution program was organized on behalf of Kayastha Bandhu Samiti at Misrod Station Road Shri Ram Colony. During this, food packets were distributed to the poor, destitute people. Girish Srivastava of the committee said that the committee is continuously providing help to the poor and needy people.
Immersion will be done with the help of crane, the running ceremony will not come out
After the Durga festival, the symbolic immersion of the idols will start from Thursday itself. On Friday and Saturday ghats are expected to be very crowded. For the preparations for the immersion, security arrangements have been completed by the district administration at different ghats. Duty of SDM, CSP and Corporation officers have been imposed. The idols will be immersed only with the help of crane or JCB. No one will be allowed to access the water at the ghat.
Russes and barricades are being installed by the district administration and municipal corporation at major ghats like Rani Kamalapati Ghat Kamala Park, Prempura Ghat, Sehore Naka, Hathaikheda Anantpura, Shahpura, Itkhedi, Khatlapura, Naronha Sankal and Malikhedi immersion site. In view of Corona, this time the mobile functions will not go out. This time around 700 small and big statues have been installed. Earlier it used to be more than 1500. Kunds have also been made by the Municipal Corporation in all the wards, in which the residents of the city can immerse the small idols in the whole law.
