The police gave instructions to call off the event. There was a scuffle between the ABVP and the police over this matter. When the matter got heated, a fight broke out between the police and the workers. The Umra police forcibly took several activists into custody by putting them in police vans. Police did not see:
ABVP workers had gathered at VNSGU on Tuesday morning against the action taken by the police on Monday night. But during this time not a single police personnel was seen in the VNSGU campus. Whenever a large number of students or student organization workers gather in VNSGU, the police also come. But no one was seen on Tuesday.
VC’s permission in question:
Due to Corona, the government has banned the public Navratri event. In VNSGU on Monday, ABVP raised the slogan of giving permission to the Vice-Chancellor for the Navratri event. Despite the refusal from the government, in which jurisdiction the permission given by the Vice-Chancellor is coming, various questions are being raised about it.
The coming of the police without permission is a matter of discussion:
University is the temple of education. The discussion of police entering the VNSGU campus and assaulting the activists playing Navratri has caught fire in the education world. It is being discussed in the education world that it is illegal for the police to come to the university campus without the permission of the Vice-Chancellor.

Registrar applied for action
Jaideep Chaudhary, the acting registrar of the university, has sent an application to the PI of Umra police station to take action against the police personnel who attacked the students. Without the permission of the Vice-Chancellor, it is not possible to enter the university campus by doing police. Demanded legal action against such police personnel.
The movement will continue
Police beat up for stopping Navratri celebrations. Up words used. I was also assaulted. Police behavior was illegal. The agitation on behalf of ABVP will continue till the guilty police personnel are not suspended.
