Singrauli. More than 4700 students of the district will participate in the National Achievement Survey (NAS) to be held in November next month. In view of the preparation of the test related to the survey to be held on November 12, the collector reviewed it. In the preparation review meeting held in the Collectorate Auditorium, instructed to monitor the preparations for NAS in government schools.
The Collector said that Singrauli district was included in the last 10 districts in NAS 2017, but this time make such preparations that the district can be included in the first 10 districts. DPC RK Dubey present in the meeting apprised the collector regarding the preparation. Told that all the exercise material has been received from the State Education Center.
The first stage mock test has also been conducted. Class wise student attendance in mock tests has also been good. After receiving the information related to the preparation from the DPC, the Collector directed the District Education Officer and the DPC to conduct regular classes in schools from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm every day and its monitoring should also be done.
The Collector said that if the teachers are negligent in the conduct of classes, then action should be taken against them. Also asked to take test of students every week. By marking the difficult points included in the test, the teacher should get them resolved. All the BACs and CACs posted in Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan were asked to discharge their responsibilities properly.
He was also asked to prepare videos of teachers preparing well for NAS and send them to the group. So that maximum number of students can be benefited from it. He directed that maximum use of smart classes should be made for the preparation of NAS. The Collector appreciated the order of SDM Singrauli to allot the school to all the revenue officers. He directed the sub-divisional officers to allot the schools to the revenue officers for monitoring the schools in their respective areas. Directed the DPC to prepare for NAS by paying full attention to the basic competencies of class 3 students.
