LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas’s Annual Sports Gala officially begins at the Punjab Stadium. The event was opened by General Manager Amer Tufail. He was accompanied by senior executives of the Company.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, he emphasized that sports foster the team-building process as it increases the performance and productivity of officers and staff. She added that female players are equally competitive and it is a good feeling to see them compete with men in routine sports.
At the event, Sui North Sports Cell President Imtiaz Mahmood took the oath among the participating teams, while CBA President Zubair Khan was also present at the ceremony. Muhammad Arshad, Deputy Chairman, Sports Cell Officers; Imran Safdar Virk, Secretary General; Kanwal Wazir, Minister of Finance; and Sports Cell members Aftab Ashraf and Khalid Mahmood were also present.
The 4-Day Sports Gala, which started on November 14, will reach its final on November 17 with the participation of 21 different teams from the regions and a total of 336 players, male and female. The Sports Gala includes Cricket, Badminton, Tug of War, Table Tennis, Volleyball and athletics among other games.
