ISLAMABAD, November 14 (Online): The Supreme Judicial Council (HJC) meeting was convened on November 20.
The meeting will examine complaints against Justice Mazahar Naqvi and Justice Sardar Tariq.
Judge Mazahar Naqvi’s objections will also be taken into consideration.
The SJC had issued a show-cause notice to justice Mazahar Naqvi. SJC also subpoenaed the complainants with their evidence.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa will chair the SJC meeting. The two most senior members and the two most senior chief justices of the high courts will also be part of the SJC along with the HJC.
The Attorney General of Pakistan will serve as the prosecutor.
