Security forces killed seven terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kiri Machan Khel general area, Tank Zone, on Wednesday, the military’s media affairs wing said.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), there was an intense clash between soldiers and terrorists during the operation.
“As a result, seven terrorists were sent to hell,” ISPR said, adding that “the terrorists’ hideouts were also raided during the operation.”
In addition, weapons and ammunition belonging to the killed terrorists, who recently took an active part in numerous terrorist activities, including target killings against the police in Tank, were seized.
“The slain terrorists continued to actively participate in terrorist activities against security forces and civilians,” ISPR said.
According to the statement, cleaning efforts are being carried out to eliminate the presence of terrorists.
“The people of the region appreciated the operation and extended their full support to the security forces to eliminate the terrorist threat,” ISPR added.
