On Tuesday, November 21, rescue teams released the first video of workers trapped in the Ipekyara tunnel for nearly 200 hours.
Images were captured using an endoscopic camera delivered through an alternative 6-inch food pipeline.
In the video, workers wearing yellow-white helmets are seen receiving food items sent to them through the pipeline and talking to each other.
This provides great relief to the workers’ families.
National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) Director Anshu Manish Khalkho had earlier said that cameras will be installed in the pipeline to see how the workers are doing.
The camera was sent after arriving from Delhi late on Monday evening.
