Subhashnagar police on Thursday busted the gang that took away the chain of a Sarahah woman. Arrested two people including the history sheeter of Kota, the gang leader. The accused have opened an incident in the city. More incidents are likely to open from them. Efforts are on to recover the chain from the accused.

According to Police Station Pushpa Kasautia, on October 4, Bhagwati Devi Bhatt of Sanjay Colony was going to meet a relative. Then two youths who came on a motorcycle snatched the gold chain worn around the neck and ran away. After research, the team led by Kasautia arrested Lakki alias Suraj Sindhi, resident of Kota’s Kathunpol Hall, Sanganer, Jaipur, and Kailash Koli, resident of Bombay Colony police station RK Puram Kota.

CI Kasautia said that both the accused are hardcore criminals. In this, Lucky is the history sheeter of Kathunpol police station. There are 15 cases against him and 6 against Kailash. Most of the cases against Lucky are of robbery. There are four cases of theft. Cases are registered against Kailash in other sections including theft, illegal liquor, Arms Act. To reach the accused, the police questioned more than fifty suspects. Explored more than 400 CC cameras. After that the accused were named.

Racki on bike, returning after changing clothes
During interrogation, Lucky told that he lives in a rented house in Jaipur. They reach Kota by train and comes near Kailash. Both bikes from Kota reached Bhilwara. Roaming in the streets of Bhilwara city, he used to do raki. Seeing the woman alone in the street here, the person sitting on the bike used to snatch the chain by swooping on the neck. After taking them out of the city, they would change their clothes and leave for Kota.
