On the occasion of World Rose Day, a 10th class student created a world record by creating a cancer ribbon pattern with 90 Guru Roses in 4000 square feet on behalf of Eyes Education and Green Foundation in Puducherry.

It was recognized by the Kalam World Record Institute and awarded a world record certificate. Puducherry Speaker Selvam and Public Works Minister Lakshminarayanan attended the program as special guests and honored the student who set the world record.
