PATNA: Patna District Rural Congress Committee-1 celebrated the birth anniversary of national poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar ji at Planetarium Auditorium in Patna today. The program was presided over by Patna Rural District Congress Committee President Dr. Ashutosh Sharma. In which people associated with different fields were honored, including Alok Dhanva from the field of literature, Dr. Satyendra Sharma in the field of medicine, in the field of law. Ramakant Sharma in the field and Dr. Satish Kumar in the field of history.
Bhakta Charan Das, in-charge of Bihar Congress, was the chief guest of the program. Those who threw light on the biography of Dinkar said that the true tribute of Dinkar ji will have to be conveyed to the people by assimilating his lines. State Congress President Dr. Madan Mohan Jha said that Jawaharlal Nehru used to give respect to a learned person like Dinkar. This is the hallmark of Congress.
Also, Murari Gautam, Panchayati Raj Minister of Bihar Government, who was included as a guest, said that a library would be constructed in every Panchayat in the memory of Dinkar ji. Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Akhilesh Prasad Singh said that Dinkar is the identity of Indian pride, it is a matter of pride for Bihar. Dinkar raised his voice against social evils 60 years ago.
Former State President Shri Anil Sharma demanded Bharat Ratna for Rashtrakavi Dinkar. He said that the Bihar government should send this proposal and Bharat Ratna should be given on 26th January. Working President Dr. Sameer Kumar Singh described Dinkar as the closest member of his family and said that Dinkar was a learned poet coming out of a rural setting.
Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, President, Rural District Congress Committee-I said that each and every word of Dinkar is like a big sentence, which needs in-depth research. Years ago, Dinkar had raised his voice against social deviance.
