Islam Abad: Petroleum products are likely to become more expensive again, OGRA has recommended an increase in prices by up to Rs 10 per liter.
According to Express News, there is a fear of further increase in the prices of petroleum products as OGRA has sent a summary to the Ministry of Finance in which recommendations have been made to increase the prices of petroleum products by up to Rs 10.
In the summary sent by OGRA, it has been proposed to increase the price of petrol by Rs 5.90 per liter and high speed diesel by Rs 10 per liter.

Sources said that the final approval of the price hike would be given by Prime Minister Imran Khan. The new prices would be implemented after the notification of the Finance Ministry. However, it is also possible to provide relief to the people by reducing petroleum levy and sales tax.
