Rawalpindi: Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan’s daughter Dr. Dina has said that my father was not given what he should have got.

A condolence reference was made for Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan at the High Court Bar in Rawalpindi in which the Qur’an was recited. Advisor to the Prime Minister Dr Babar Awan and Dr Qadeer’s daughter Dina Khan also attended the reference.

Addressing the function, Dr Dina, daughter of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, said that she was grateful to all the people of the bar for organizing the event. Dr. Dina became agitated while addressing. “This is a very difficult time for my family. My father was not given what he deserved. I hope my father’s work will be appreciated in the future. If my father was undergoing treatment in Karachi,” he said. People used to bring flowers for him. I am thankful to all the people for giving so much respect to my father.

Addressing the function, President Rawalpindi High Court Bar Sardar Abdul Raziq said that Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan is the founder of nuclear power, he participated in Pakistan’s nuclear program at a time when Pakistan was in trouble, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan had said that he Pakistan can be made a nuclear power on which Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto welcomed him, Zia-ul-Haq had told Indira Gandhi that if India looked at Pakistan then we have Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, the picture of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan in all parts of Pakistan Engaged with Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal.

Addressing the gathering, Babar Awan said that Dr Qadeer and his children are the benefactors of this country.
