Karachi: The Sindh government has banned double riding of motorcycles for one day on the occasion of silent condolence processions on 8 Rabi-ul-Awal 15 October.

The Sindh Home Department has issued a notification banning double riding for one day on eight Rabi-ul-Awal in seven major cities of the province including Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur, Khairpur, Shaheed Benazirabad and Larkana.

According to the Sindh Home Department, silent condolence processions will be held in various cities of Sindh on October 15. In order to maintain law and order, double riding of motorcycles has been banned on the recommendation of law enforcement agencies. ۔ Women, children, the elderly and journalists will be exempt from the ban.
