Mumbai : NCP leader Eknath Khadse’s wife Mandakini Khadse has finally got relief. Mumbai High Court has directed not to arrest him immediately. Earlier, the sessions court had rejected Mandakini Khadse’s pre-arrest bail application.

Mandakini Khadse granted pre-arrest bail

Mumbai Sessions Court had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Mandakini Khadse. He was already likely to be arrested. He had moved the Bombay High Court challenging the Sessions Court’s decision. The matter was heard in court today. Mandakini Khadse was granted pre-arrest bail. The court also directed the ED to co-operate in the investigation during this period.

What is the outcome of the court?

Mumbai High Court has granted interim relief to Mandakini Khadse. He will be released on bail immediately after ED action. Also, Mandakini Khadse will have to appear before the ED every Tuesday and Friday from October 17 to 29. Mandakini Khadse has also been ordered to appear before a special court on October 21.

Earlier, Mandakini Khadse, wife of Eknath Khadse, had filed a pre-arrest bail application in the Bhosari land misappropriation case in Pune. However, the court rejected the application. Mumbai Sessions Court had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Mandakini Khadse.
