
Islamabad: Islamabad police officials’ theft of belongings of Afghan refugees has led to a high-level investigation.
Like the rest of the country, the process of evacuating illegal foreign residents from Islamabad is ongoing. Illegal residents accused SHO Shalimar police station, administrative officer and ASI of not returning their belongings.
According to sources, SHO Shalimar police station and its officers did not return the belongings of Afghan citizens, SSP Operations took into consideration the complaints and initiated an investigation.

According to the police spokesperson, SHO Shalimar police station has been suspended from duty along with the executive officer and the ASI concerned. According to the police, 19 Afghan citizens were sent to Torkham from Shalimar police station yesterday.
