Several areas of Kingsburg have been evacuated since the incident. Norway’s intelligence service has been alerted. Norway does not normally have a police force, but the police directorate has ordered all police officers to carry weapons as a precaution after an attack.

Police say the suspect has been arrested. The 37-year-old suspect is a Danish citizen. The attack is being investigated, and it is too early to say whether it was a terrorist attack. We are considering all the possibilities. From the initial information, it seems that the accused has committed this incident alone.

In Norway in July 2011, right-wing extremist Andreas Breivik killed 77 people in a bomb attack and shooting in Oslo.
