Navjot Singh Sidhu, known for his different attitudes, is to appear before the party high command on Thursday. Here Sidhu will present his views in front of Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat and party general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal.
But before this Sidhu has tweeted the video of an interview. In this video, Sidhu is seen talking openly on many issues related to Punjab.
In this video shared by writing the truth, Sidhu says that he IGes his gratitude to the party high command for its support but he will not compromise. During this, he once again emphasized on his 18-point agenda.
Sidhu said in the interview that if we make agreement then how will we move forward because then this monster system has to run to bite you. He said that we will fight and in politics there may be 5 to 50 and also 50 to 0.
High command’s grit
The Congress high command had made Sidhu the President of Punjab Congress after lakhs of opposition from former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh. But Sidhu dealt a blow to the high command last month when he resigned from his post. This caused a lot of embarrassment to the high command and at the same time Amarinder Singh also completely distanced himself from the party.
There is anger against Sidhu
A video of Sidhu had gone viral in the past, in which he was heard saying that Congress is in a dying condition. During this, an abusive word also came out of his mouth.
It is said that after this video went viral, many Punjab Congress leaders want that action should be taken against Sidhu. But in Punjab, standing on the threshold of elections, the party is not able to decide whether to take action against Sidhu or not.
What will Sidhu do?
Sidhu is also a popular face in Punjab politics and that is when the party high command made Amarinder Singh the president of the state Congress despite the displeasure of Amarinder Singh. Congress wants the party to benefit from Sidhu’s popularity and return to power. But nothing can be said about Sidhu whether he will again work actively for the party or will create some new trouble for Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and the high command.
