OSLO: The oil market is “nervous” due to the latest crisis in the Middle East, International Energy Agency (IEA) chief Fatih Birol told an energy conference in Norway on Tuesday.
He added that the war between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas in Gaza does not currently have a significant impact on market prices.

However, Birol said, “We can see the consequences if one or more of the oil producing countries in the region are directly involved in the conflict.”
