Gold rates in Pakistan rose on Friday in line with the increase in international exchange rates. The yellow metal was priced at Rs 216,500 per tola after a single-day gain of Rs 2,200.
10 grams of gold was sold at Rs 185,614, an increase of Rs 1,886 as per the rates shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Gold prices in Pakistan on Thursday fell by Rs 500 to settle at Rs 214,300 per tola.
APGJSA said the international gold rate was set at $2,006 with a $20 premium on Friday, following the $20 rise in the international market.
Meanwhile, silver rates remained stable at Rs 2,550 per tola.
