The oddly designed floor plan of the residence reveals that the house has no hallway to connect the rooms, meaning you would have to make long journeys to get from one place to the other. another.

In this apparent maze, you would have to walk through a dining area, kitchen, laundry room, bonus bedroom and bathroom to access one of the smaller bedrooms.

From the main bedroom, you would have to go through a small hall, and another bedroom to have a shower in one of the two bathrooms.

And, although it would be illegal in the UK, the house was sold with one bedroom in the middle of the building with no window or natural light.

The floor plan states that there is no second door in the living room but the photos accompanying the listing show otherwise.

Realtors, the California Regional Multiple Listing Service, described the single-family residence as “highly customized” and a “showstopper.”

“The living area is spacious and flows perfectly into the amazing kitchen!” he read the ad. “There is a second large living area just off the laundry room!”

Twitter users were stunned by the house’s design.

Brian Wolf described it as having “The craziest floor plan I’ve ever seen. It just gets deeper and deeper.”

Meanwhile, user Dan Lovejoy wrote: “The more you look at it: Wait, how am I … what if ? … What about …?”

“The house is cute though. But my God this architecture,” added Heather Gay.

Many Twitter users needed confirmation that the “house is real” – with some saying: “it’s worse when you find out it’s a real house”.

While the house was finally sold in October 2021 for $780,000, a copy of the floor plan resurfaced on Twitter, sending the platform into a frenzy.
