Sanak Movie: People have seen Chandan Roy Sanyal in the role of ‘Bhopa Swami’ of ‘Ashram’, ‘Mikhail’ of ‘Kaminey’ and ‘Guddu’ of ‘Jabariya Jodi’.
Now Chandan will be seen in the role of a dangerous eccentric villain Saju Solanki in ‘Sanak’. Before this, Chandan has not done such a role in any film. After months of hard training, he has mentally prepared himself for this role. From ‘Matrik’, Chandan talks about his journey so far.

know psychology
For the acting style I follow, I use the imaginative method. What a criminal would think, what would his psychology be like, he has tried to adapt it. The contradictory things in people fascinate me a lot. That’s how I prepare my character.
Saju Solanki of ‘Sanak’ is also similar. He takes money and sends people abroad, but he is not a bad guy, he is just doing his job.

He believes that I am doing my work, don’t come in between. I just thought that this man is not a goon, he just works for money. I was also given a face scar to make me look cynical and dangerous.

Mock shooting for action
A special team was hired from America for the action sequence of the film. He had already shot dummy scenes. Then got me to work in those scenes. The team did mock shooting of all the action sequences with me.

After the shoot, I was told that I had to do it and I did it. He had to repeat it. There was also a lot of cable, aerial sequence in action designing, which was not easy for me at all, because many times I used to hang on the wires all day.

I had to maintain my eccentricity as the villain, as well as correct the body language, how he would carry the gun, what would be the IGion on his face after firing. This entire training took about a month.

did not give up acting
The search is on for the role I want to play, but now I am getting good work. The time also came when people with me were far ahead of me. I was upset too, but never gave up hope and acting. I always continued to carve myself, now hard work is paying off.

15 years of hard work is in the roll
This role is the squeeze of my 15-year career. I have reached this destination by walking step by step. When people say that I have simplicity in acting, I just tell them that I have seen very difficult times in life for this simplicity.
