Bhopal. The government has taken a tough stand on the fertilizer crisis in the state. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held an emergency meeting on this on Thursday. Shivraj said that there was no complaint of any kind in the arrangement of distribution of fertilizers. Strict action will be taken against the concerned in case of negligence and complaint. Under no circumstances will they be spared. If found guilty, a prison sentence can also be given. Shivraj said that black marketing of fertilizers should not happen during offline sale of fertilizers. Manure should be available to the farmers without any hassle. Ensure proper distribution of fertilizers by coordinating with the collectors of the districts. Shivraj instructed the collectors of Morena and Bhind districts to maintain the fertilizer distribution system and solve the problems. Shivraj said that allocation of 2 lakh 12 thousand metric tonnes of manure has been approved for the state in the month of October. Adequate amount of manure is available. He said that the availability of manure should be publicized properly. NPK manure is also as effective as DAP manure. Its distribution to the farmers should also be ensured properly.

Rasuka will now be imposed on black marketing of fertilizers in the state. Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra while talking to the media on Thursday said that the government will take strict action against those who do black marketing of fertilizers in the state. Rasuka will be imposed on such people. Instructions have been given to all the districts to register FIRs against black marketeers. It is pertinent to mention here that in many districts the information about shortage of fertilizers is coming to the fore. Now the government has decided to take strict action on this.
