As per the announced schedule for the election of Congress president, after the notification, the nomination process will now be held from September 24 to 30. October 8 is the last day to withdraw nomination papers. If there is more than one candidate, the voting will be held on October 17 and the result will be declared on October 19. Tharoor is not getting support in his own country!
