Dombivli / Sunil Jadhav (Representative): The police have taken action in the case of the life-threatening protective wall of the railway in Dombivli on the Central Railway line. With the collapse of the protective wall (Wall Collapse) two laborers died in an accident (Death) and three injured (Injury) was done. In that case, the police have registered a case of negligence against Shiva Enterprises in Mumbai and the responsible persons related to this contractor company.

This incident happened on Wednesday. Police in Dombivli have taken action in this matter.
A case of culpable homicide has been registered in Vishnunagar police station
A case of negligence and culpable homicide has been registered against Shiva Enterprises Mumbai and the people responsible with them at Vishnunagar Police Station. Senior Police Inspector of Vishnunagar Police Station Pandharinath Bhalerao has given this information.
Seven people were trapped under the debris of the wall
The Central Railway Administration has started the construction of protective wall between Kopar Railway Station to Dombivli Railway Station. Alongside this new wall is an old retaining wall twelve feet high.
While the construction work of the new wall was going on, suddenly the old wall collapsed and a total of seven laborers were trapped under the rubble of the wall.
Five of them were dragged out by the citizens. Two workers, Mallesh Chavan and Bandu Kuwase, died on the spot. The locality is expressing grief over the incident of his death.
Manik Pawar, Yuvraj Guttalwar, Vinayak Chaudhary are seriously injured. Both Manik and Yuvraj are undergoing treatment at Shiv’s Lokmanya Tilak Hospital. Vinayak is undergoing treatment at KDMC’s Shastrinagar Hospital in Dombivli.
After this accident, Vishnunagar police started investigation and initiated action against Shiva Enterprises Mumbai and the persons responsible with them on the complaint of Manik Pawar, a laborer.
A case of culpable homicide has been registered against the concerned for negligence in work. Senior Police Inspector Pandharinath Bhalekar said further investigation of the matter is going on.
