Bhopal. The government has decided to run a campaign to stop economic fraud in the state. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains gave its instructions in the meeting of the State Level Coordination Committee regarding non-financial institutions on Wednesday. In fact, cases of fraud have come to the fore in the state by giving cheap loans, high interest, double money back and similar lucrative offers. The complaint has also reached the government. For this reason it has been decided to run an awareness campaign. The CS directed the district collectors and senior police officers to ensure strict compliance of the provisions of the Madhya Pradesh Protection of Interests of Depositors Act and Irregular Deposit Prohibition Act from time to time in such institutions. In order to maintain mutual trust between the depositors and the general public and the government, he directed to continue the action by taking strict action against the guilty institutions. Apart from this, it was also discussed in the meeting to organize a training session or seminar on the Unregulated Deposit Restriction Act 2019 at the division level, so that more and more people can become aware.
Bulls’ slaughtering campaign postponed
It has been postponed for the time being after the ruckus over the campaign of negligent bulls in the state. The Animal Husbandry Department had instructed the collectors of all the districts to run this campaign, but BJP MP from Bhopal Pragya Singh Thakur IGed strong displeasure over it. It has now been postponed to Wednesday. Instructions have been sent to all the districts for this. It is worth mentioning that it was decided to breed about 12 lakh bad bulls in the state. The reason behind this was said to be a rapid increase in the cow progeny.
