Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk told British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak that deadly robots that can climb trees, artificial intelligence that can make all jobs obsolete and a jobless future are a close possibility for humanity.

In a wide-ranging conversation late on Thursday (November 2), he told Sunak there would come a time when no jobs are needed because artificial intelligence will be “the most disruptive force in history”, the BBC reported.

Musk said artificial intelligence will be smarter than the smartest human. “This is where we see the most disruptive force in history. You can have a job for personal satisfaction, but AI will do anything,” he added.

“This is both good and bad; one of our challenges in the future will be how to find meaning in life,” added the X owner.

He said there is a safety concern, especially with humanoid robots. “At least a car can’t chase you into a building or a tree,” he told the audience.
