Is today Ram Navami or Mahanavami? You must be wondering why we are asking this question. Actually, there is a ruckus on Twitter over the tweets of Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Anand Sharma. Both these leaders today greeted the people on ‘Mahanavami’ on ‘Ram Navami’. However, both have deleted their tweets.

In fact, SP National President Akhilesh Yadav tweeted today and said, “Wishing you and your family a very Happy Ram Navami!” As soon as Akhilesh tweeted, people started trolling him. After a while, Akhilesh deleted the tweet and tweeted – “Wishing you and your family a very Happy Mahanavami!”

Uttar Pradesh BJP reacted sharply to Akhilesh Yadav’s tweet. The UP BJP handle tweeted, “Akhilesh Yadav who doesn’t even know what is the difference between Ram Navami and Mahanavami, he talks about ‘Ram’ and ‘Parshuram’… don’t wear ‘cap’ to the public, that’s you. But it looks better…”

Uttar Pradesh BJP tweeted another, “Looking for the missing… Name:- Akhilesh Yadav, Parliamentary Constituency:- Azamgarh, Note:- Today he was found on Twitter wishing ‘Ram Navami’. On receiving any information…”

At the same time, BJP leader Amit Malviya said, “The festival of Ram Navami is celebrated in the month of Chaitra. Mahanavami occurs in Shardiya Navratras, which is the day of worship of Goddess Durga. After this comes Dussehra, that is, the day Lord Rama killed Ravana. This is what happens when those who shoot at kar sevaks pretend to be Hindus as soon as the elections come.”

BJP leader Sambit Patra wrote, “Those who fired at Shri Ram devotees… today Lord Shri Ram has started coming in their dreams also due to election fear…Today he is congratulating Ram Navami..Congratulations..”

At the same time, another user wrote, “Instead of visiting temples for vote bank, if I had got good information about Hindu religion and customs, then Akhilesh Yadav ji might not have made such a mistake…”

Yogendra Pratap wrote, “This is the result of being a part time Hindu. Former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav doesn’t even know the difference between Ram Navami and Mahanavami? Congratulating Ram Navami on the day of Mahanavami. Akhilesh ji, you should put on a netted cap. That’s where it suits you. What do you mean by Sanatan Dharma and its customs?

Acharya Shiv Kishore writes, “How is Akhilesh Yadav a Hindu? They have two Navamis here, today is Ram Navami, today is Mahanavami. Look at today’s tweets and other people say that they have come to Australia after studying.

One user wrote, “The pitfalls of becoming a fake electoral Hindu. Namazi Akhilesh Yadav does not even know that Ram Navami is held in the Navratri of Chaitra month. Today is Mahanavami. No matter how much you become a Hindu, “If you come to UP, then only a yogi.”

Anand Sharma also removed the tweet

Akhilesh Yadav had removed the tweet wishing Ram Navami, but former Union Minister and Congress leader Anand Sharma did not remove his tweet for a long time. Anand Sharma had tweeted, “Wishing you all a very Happy Ram Navami.” After being trolled, Anand Sharma has also corrected his mistake.
