12 new economic zones are being created in Punjab, Usman Bazdar said
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has said that 12 new economic zones are being set up in Punjab.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar inaugurated the Chief Minister’s Investment Facilitation Center. In his address, Usman Bazdar said that China’s largest garment group “Challenge Fashion” was investing 15 150 million in Punjab. Investments will not allow any “red tape” to stand in the way of investment. The establishment of the Investment Facilitation Center will give investors direct access to the top government officials of the concerned institutions.
Provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal announced that the Punjab government would set up nine special technology zones in the province.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar also ordered the issuance of newspapers for prisoners. “The ordeal that prisoners go through is indescribable,” he said.
